When it comes to the performance of your vehicle, there are a lot of factors to consider. When even one component is off, you're likely to notice. Proper alignment is one issue that can lead to multiple problems. Here's what the O.C. Welch Lincoln team thinks you should know about wheel alignments.

Also known as front end or tire alignment, this maintenance task is the adjustment of the vehicle's suspension system. Despite the name, it doesn't actually align the wheels themselves. An alignment does result in the proper angle of the tires so that they make contact with the road as they should.

If a vehicle is out of alignment, you may notice that the steering wheel is off-center while driving straight or that the vehicle will pull to the left or right. The steering wheel might vibrate. Poor wheel alignment causes uneven tire wear and could make driving hazardous.
